The Beginnings of the Non Profit

This morning we met over zoom with an attorney that specializes in non profits. We shared our vision and got some direction on our next steps. We will for sure be going through with a non profit status and we are beyond excited!

Our mission can pretty much be summed up by Mark 16:15, "And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature". What is the gospel but the good news that Jesus, our savior, has come to give us salvation and redemption of the curse of the law (John 3:16, Galatians 3:13). The curse for sin was not just on Adam and Eve but on all creation (Genesis 3:17). That is the living microbes that make up the soil, the plants that grow and depend on the microbes, the insects, pollinators, and animals that depend on the plants and those that depend on other animals and of course, us as humans who depend on all of it. Romans 8:18- 21 says, "I am convinced that any suffering we endure is less than nothing compared to the magnitude of glory that is about to be unveiled within us. The entire universe is standing on tiptoe, yearning to see the unveiling of God’s glorious sons and daughters! For against its will the universe itself has had to endure the empty futility resulting from the consequences of human sin. But now, with eager expectation, all creation longs for freedom from its slavery to decay and to experience with us the wonderful freedom coming to God’s children". As redeemed and free believers we will train our leaders to step into their position as the sons and daughters of God and preach the gospel to every creature calling all life back into right order.

We have found our starting ground! We have found a beautiful almost 24 acre property very close to the local bible collage. This is great as we believe the majority of our "stewards" or leaders that will be trained up and sent out will come from the collage. We believe this will be the first of many properties we will acquire and our ministry headquarters. The property is currently listed at $1.6M. We are exploring purchasing options and will hopefully have more updates soon.

As far as the farm itself, we will start with raising laying hens, broiler/ meat chickens, quail,

rabbits, goats and pigs. We will offer farm tours and will have a small farm stand/ store where visitors will be able to partner with us through the purchase of our farm fresh products. We will also be able to accept tax deductible donations to help us grow, spread and duplicate! We want to invite you to partner with us before we even have our non profit status.
