Pleas For Truth
This morning I woke up and grabbed my phone to turn off my alarm. The first thing I saw was the infamous FB Fact Checkers False Information message. Another post I shared was labeled as "false information". The post was not false information but it did go against the mainstream narrative. I have been reading and meditating on Isaiah 59-61 the past few days and when I saw that notification on my phone this morning chapter 59 verse 4 instantly came to mind.
"No one calls for justice, nor does anyone plead for truth. They trust in vanity and speak lies; they conceive mischief and bring forth iniquity."
Friends, I have some good news for you and there is a lot in the scriptures I'm going to share with you but for times sake I'm not going to cover most of it. So I encourage you to read through and meditate on these scriptures for yourself. In order to get to the good news we first have to understand the current state of affairs from a biblical perspective. And I think that Isaiah 59: 1-15 is a very accurate description of where we are not only as a nation but also as humans.
"1 Certainly, the hand of the Lord is not so short that it cannot save, nor is His ear so dull that it cannot hear.
2 But your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, and your sins have hidden His face from you so that He will not hear. 3 For your hands are defiled with blood and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, your tongue has muttered perverseness. 4 No one calls for justice, nor does anyone plead for truth. They trust in vanity and speak lies; they conceive mischief and bring forth iniquity. 5 They hatch adders’ eggs and weave the spider’s web; he who eats of their eggs dies, and that which is crushed breaks out into a viper. 6 Their webs shall not become garments, nor shall they cover themselves with their works; their works are works of iniquity, and an act of violence is in their hands. 7 Their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed innocent blood; their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; devastation and destruction are in their paths. 8 The way of peace they do not know, and there is no justice in their ways; they have made their paths crooked; whoever walks in them does not know peace.
The Confession of Sin
9 Therefore, justice is far from us, nor does righteousness overtake us; we wait for light, but there is darkness, for brightness, but we walk in gloom. 10 We grope along the wall like the blind, and we grope as if we had no eyes; we stumble at noonday as in the night; among those who are vigorous, we are as dead men. 11 We all roar like bears and mourn sadly like doves; we look for justice, but there is none; for salvation, but it is far from us.
12 For our transgressions are multiplied before You, and our sins testify against us; for our transgressions are with us. And as for our iniquities, we know them: 13 transgressing, and lying against the Lord, and departing away from our God, speaking oppression and revolt, conceiving and uttering from the heart words of falsehood. 14 Justice is turned backward, and righteousness stands far off; for truth is fallen in the street, and equity (in the original Hebrew text equity is translated as straightforwardness, integrity, a truth, right, right things, and uprightness) cannot enter. 15 Truth is lacking, and he who departs from evil makes himself a prey."
Do you see it? Does this not perfectly describe our world today? There is no peace, churches are forced shut but abortion clinics are open and busy shedding innocent blood. I do believe that that blood is on the hands of everyone who does not fight against this atrocity. Every believer who refuses to vote because of emotion or lies that the church is not supposed to be involved, this blood is on their hands. Every person who remains silent as not to offend anyone, this blood is on their hands. Every pastor who avoids this topic to appease worldly feelings, this blood is on their hands. Every believer who votes based off of emotion or party affiliation and ignores policy that embraces this issue, this blood is on their hands. They will not answer to me or you but to God. There will come a day when we will all stand before the Father and have to give an account for every word and action (Ecclesiastes 12:14, Romans 2:16, Romans 14:12, Matthew 12:36). Worship to the Lord is banned in California but openly speaking perverse and evil things over children, our nation, our president, our people and burning the Word of God in the streets is praised. Justice is turned backwards! I have read and heard of so many accounts of medical tyranny. A pregnant woman goes into the hospital at 32 weeks gestation with cramps fearing preterm labor and as per hospital guidelines a Covid test was given. She was told it was positive and although she had absolutely no covid symptoms was convinced to undergo an emergency c-section to "protect the baby" and be placed on a ventilator. She did not make it. Labeled a covid death but the truth is it was medical malpractice and tyranny. Her life was taken by lies. Or how about the man in Utah who was faced with 11 charges relating to possessing more than 13 THOUSAND files of graphic child pornography. Including toddlers being rapped by grown men and bestiality. He was sentenced to 210 days in jail and 2 years of probation. Yep a tiny little slap on the wrist and if he would have been in California then he may not even have to file as a sex offender. Truth is greatly lacking. Successful medical doctors are censored and crushed for speaking truth in the streets but others with no medical experience or degrees are praised and held up as leaders in the field of health and medicine. Those who step away from the lies and evil being done are becoming prey. Media is feeding off of discrediting and destroying those with lies, manipulated truths, "false information" labels. Straightforwardness and truth cannot enter. Where are the lovers of truth? Where are the pleas and demands for truth?
Ok, let's get to the good news! Lets continue reading Isaiah 59: 15-21:
"15 Then the Lord saw it, and it displeased Him that there was no justice.
16 He saw that there was no man and was astonished that there was no intercessor; therefore, His own arm brought salvation to Him, and His righteousness sustained Him.
17 For He put on righteousness as a breastplate and a helmet of salvation on His head;He put on the garments of vengeance for clothing and was clad with zeal as a cloak. 18 According to their deeds, accordingly He will repay:fury to His adversaries, recompense to His enemies; to the islands He will make recompense.19 So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west and His glory from the rising of the sun; when the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him. 20 The Redeemer shall come to Zion and to those who turn from transgression in Jacob, says the Lord. 21 As for Me, this is My covenant with them, says the Lord: My Spirit who is upon you, and My words which I have put in your mouth shall not depart out of your mouth, nor out of the mouth of your descendants, nor out of the mouth of your descendants’ descendants, says the Lord, from this time forth and forever."
Isaiah was an old testament prophet and here he is speaking of the coming of Jesus. This is awesome. The Lord saw all of this happening back then and it displeased Him. God is the God of justice, righteousness and salvation! He sent His son, Jesus, as the perfect sacrifice for all of us who choose Him. When we choose Him we are set free from our transgressions/ sin and the curses/ punishments of them. However, those who choose to reject Him by default will continue to walk in their transgressions and the natural punishments of sin and a fallen nature. Galatians 3:13 says "Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law by being made a curse for us..." As believers His Spirit has come upon us and remains in us (1 Cor. 6:19). He has put His words in our mouths. The savior has already come and we have the choice to turn from our transgressions and follow Him or remain of the world and continue in the fallen state in disobedience and adversity to the Lord. I also want to point something out in verse 19. It says that when the enemy comes in like a flood the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him. This word, "standard", in the Greek means person or thing. Most of the Christians I know believe that God just works and controls everything like a puppeteer. And that's not true. We always have a choice and He always has a back up incase we say, "no". When the enemy comes rushing in like a flood the Lord will position His church, His people to stand in the way of the enemy. Will you stand when positioned or will you be too consumed with what others will say or think and step out of position? Are you willing to let the Word of Truth disrupt your doctrine, your opinions and feelings? Lets keep reading in Isaiah 60 to see the word for those who choose Jesus!
"1 Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.2 For the darkness shall cover the earth and deep darkness the peoples; but the Lord shall rise upon you, and His glory shall be seen upon you.
3 The nations shall come to your light and kings to the brightness of your rising.4 Lift up your eyes all around, and see: They all gather themselves together; they come to you; your sons shall come from afar, and your daughters shall be carried at your side.
5 Then you shall see and be radiant, and your heart shall thrill and rejoice because the abundance of the sea shall be converted to you, the wealth of the nations shall come to you.6 The multitude of camels shall cover your land, the young camels of Midian and Ephah; all those from Sheba shall come; they shall bring gold and incense and shall bear good news of the praises of the Lord.
7 All the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered together to you, the rams of Nebaioth shall minister to you; they shall come up with acceptance on My altar, and I will glorify My glorious house.8 Who are these who fly as a cloud and as the doves to their roosts?
9 Surely the coastlands shall wait for Me, and the ships of Tarshish shall come first, to bring your sons from afar, their silver and their gold with them, to the name of the Lord your God and to the Holy One of Israel because He has glorified you.
10 The sons of foreigners shall build up your walls, and their kings shall minister to you; for in My wrath I struck you, but in My favor I have had mercy on you.11 Therefore, your gates shall be open continually; they shall not be shut day nor night, so that men may bring to you the wealth of the nations, and that their kings may be brought.
12 For the nation and kingdom that will not serve you shall perish, and those nations shall be utterly destroyed.13 The glory of Lebanon shall come to you, the fir tree, the pine tree, and the box tree together, to beautify the place of My sanctuary; and I will make the place of My feet glorious.
14 The sons also of those who afflicted you shall come bowing before you, and all those who despised you shall bow themselves down at the soles of your feet; and they shall call you, The City of the Lord, the Zion of the Holy One of Israel.15 Whereas you have been forsaken and hated so that no man went through you,I will make you an eternal excellency, a joy of many generations.
16 You shall also suck the milk of the nations and suck the breast of kings; then you shall know that I, the Lord, am your Savior and your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.17 Instead of bronze I will bring gold, and instead of iron I will bring silver; and instead of wood, bronze; and instead of stones, iron.I will also make your officers peace and your exactors righteousness.
18 Violence shall no more be heard in your land, nor devastation or destruction within your borders; but you shall call your walls Salvation and your gates Praise.19 The sun shall no longer be your light by day, nor for brightness shall the moon give light to you; but the Lord shall be an everlasting light to you and your God for your glory.
20 Your sun shall no more go down, nor shall your moon wane; for the Lord shall be your everlasting light, and the days of your mourning shall end.21 Then all your people shall be righteous; they shall inherit the land forever, the branch of My planting, the work of My hands, that I may be glorified.22 A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation.I, the Lord, will hasten it in its time.
Is this not good news!! Darkness will cover the earth and deep darkness will cover the people but not you! The glory of God is seen upon you. Those in darkness should see the light of God's glory on you and be drawn to you. Do you know that as a believer you are no longer of this world. Yes, you are in it but you are a citizen of the kingdom of God. My family has spent the last 2 years traveling the U.S. We are technically Arizona residents. That is where our vehicles are registered, our drivers licenses are AZ licenses, we abide by AZ homeschooling rules, etc... Right now we are in Virginia and although we have to follow Virginia laws in regards to speed limits and whatever local rules or regulations are in place in the specific places we visit we are still citizens of AZ. Similarly, there are natural laws of this world that if we break those laws there are natural consequences but it does not change or nullify our citizenship of heaven. For example, gravity. There is a natural law of gravity. If you jump off of a bridge without a bungee cord or some kind of safety devise there will be a natural consequence that may result in injury or death. Just because you are a believer and a citizen of Heaven doesn't mean you escape the consequence of breaking natural earthly laws. Remember God is a God of order not chaos. There is also a covenant of blessing on you as a believer. Go to Galatians 3:8
"And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel in advance to Abraham, saying, “In you shall all the nations be blessed.”
Genesis 22:17-18
"17 I will indeed bless you and I will indeed multiply your descendants as the stars of the heavens and as the sand that is on the seashore. Your descendants will possess the gate of their enemies. 18 Through your offspring all the nations of the earth will be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice.”
Do you see what I see???? As a believer you have come under the blessing of Abraham and part of the blessing is that YOU will possess the gate of the enemy. YOU are the standard that the Lord will raise up and position against the enemy when he comes in like a flood. Not only are you positioned but you have been promised that you WILL possess the gate. You will win IF you choose to stand. Why has abortion consumed 62,154,136.8 and counting human lives in American since Roe vs. Wade in 1973? Because the church does not know who they are in Christ. We have become so consumed by the world instead of the Word that we've allowed the enemy has created confusion at this gate. We've become divided on kingdom issues and we've scattered. The beginning of this year the Lord showed me that He is bringing His people back into unity, as in the book of Acts. When we stand in unity as a church the power of the Spirit flows in ways most of us have never experienced. I've spent months praying and asking the Lord what my part is and He told me that He's already shown me. 2 years ago I had a vision and the Lord told me, "My people do not know who they are, clothe them in the truth". Friends, I am here at the gate with you telling you that you have been positioned here to stand against the enemy and you have already been promised victory!! What is the gate? Well, what is standing behind the chaos in front of you? Maybe the gate you are at right now is a personal gate. A financial gate, you have been promised victory. Take possession of the gate! Maybe the gate is health issues (God did not give you sickness and disease but He has overcome it on the cross- 1 Peter 2:24 and positioned you for victory), possess the gate! Maybe the gate is a social issue or dare I even say a political gate. You have been positioned for victory, possess the gate! There is no question that the enemy is coming in like a flood right now and I think there is no question that the enemy has caused chaos and division at the gate even between believers. Church, do you love truth? Do you love the Word? Can I ask when the last time you consumed yourself with scripture was? When was the last time you fasted from television and binge read the word of God? Are you willing to let the Word and the Holy Spirit lead you into all truth, even if it goes against your beliefs? What if it means you will lose friends and family members? What if it means you stand alone? Where is God pulling your heart? Will you plead for truth in this hour even if it cost you something or even everything?
My prayer is this, that you will be overcome with a love for the truth and for the Word of God. “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you."- Matthew 7:7 And that you will go forth and possess the gate in boldness and truth knowing who you are in Christ! "Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm."- Ephesians 6:13
